Positive Minds Initiative brings people of all ages, races, and backgrounds together to promote mental well-being, personal growth, and community empowerment. Through two major community events each year, we create welcoming spaces where people can learn, connect, share experiences, and discover practical tools for healthier and more hopeful lives.
Open, stigma-free conversations
Practical workshops & talks
Confidence & new skills
No one faces it alone
Positive Minds Initiative (PMI) is a community-focused nonprofit organisation committed to increasing mental health awareness and empowering individuals and families. We believe that no one should feel ashamed, excluded, or alone because of mental health challenges. Our work brings communities together, encourages open conversations, connects people with helpful resources, and inspires positive change.
To promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and empower people of every age, race, and background through inclusive community events, education, meaningful conversations, and supportive connections.
A world where every person feels seen, valued, supported, and empowered to care for their mental well-being and build a fulfilling life.
Four pillars guide everything PMI brings to a community.
Safe opportunities to talk openly about mental health and challenge the stigma that prevents people from seeking support.
Practical workshops, talks, and activities that help participants understand mental well-being and develop healthy coping skills.
Encouraging people to recognize their strengths, build confidence, develop new skills, and take positive steps in their lives.
Bringing together families, young people, older adults, professionals and volunteers so no one has to face life's challenges alone.
Each year, PMI hosts two inclusive community events focused on mental health awareness and personal empowerment.
A welcoming day of learning, conversation, wellness activities, and connection.
A celebration of confidence, resilience, creativity, opportunity, and community strength.
Dates, locations, speakers, and services will be published here once confirmed.
PMI welcomes people of every age, race, ethnicity, nationality, faith, gender, ability, and socioeconomic background. You do not need a diagnosis or previous knowledge of mental health to participate.
